  • What is smoke removal service? Will this completely eliminate cigarette or marijuana odors?

Our smoke removal service uses ozone treatment, which is highly effective in neutralizing and removing odors, including those from cigarettes and marijuana. While ozone treatment significantly reduces these smells, the extent of odor removal can vary depending on the severity and duration of exposure. In most cases, our ozone service can eliminate the odors entirely, but in some instances, a slight residual smell may remain.

During ozone treatment, it's essential to prohibit entry into the area for 24 hours because ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent that can be harmful to humans and pets if inhaled in high concentrations. The ozone works by breaking down and neutralizing odors, but it also depletes oxygen levels in the treated space. To ensure safety and allow time for the ozone to dissipate and convert back to oxygen, the area must remain unoccupied for at least 24 hours after the treatment. This waiting period ensures that the space is safe to re-enter and that the odor removal process is fully effective.

  • Stain removal from carpets can be costly due to the variety of materials and the complexity involved in treating each type.

Different carpet materials, such as wool, nylon, or polyester, react differently to stains and cleaning agents.

Each material requires specific techniques and products to avoid damage while effectively removing the stain. For example, wool carpets are more delicate and may need specialized treatments that are more labor-intensive and time-consuming. Additionally, some stains, like wine or ink, may have penetrated deeply into the fibers, requiring multiple treatments or specialized equipment.

All these factors contribute to the higher cost of stain removal from carpets made of different materials.

  • Hair dye is one of the most difficult stains to remove from sheets, carpet, and furniture. The reason it is so challenging is that hair dye is designed to be a permanent colorant, which means it penetrates deep into the fibers of the fabric or material, binding tightly and setting quickly.

When hair dye stains occur on sheets, carpet, or furniture, specialized cleaning agents are required to break down the dye molecules without damaging the material. This process often involves multiple treatments, which can be labor-intensive and time-consuming. Additionally, certain materials may react poorly to the strong chemicals needed to lift the dye, requiring even more careful and precise treatment.

The high cost of removing hair dye stains is due to the complexity of the process, the specialized products needed, and the extra time required to achieve satisfactory results while ensuring the integrity of the material is maintained.

  • To remove pet smells, particularly urine odors, we use top-rated enzymatic cleaners like Rocco & Roxie Professional Strength Stain & Odor Eliminator. This product is highly effective at breaking down the proteins in urine. For deeper penetration, we use hot water extraction or steam cleaning to thoroughly clean carpets and furniture. In severe cases, we may apply an ozone treatment to completely neutralize the odor, though this requires the area to be unoccupied for 24 hours. Pet urine is especially challenging to remove, as it can seep deep into fabrics and padding, making the process more complex and costly.

  • Removing dog hair from furniture and linens involves a multi-step process. We start by vacuuming the surface using a high-powered vacuum with a pet hair attachment. This helps lift the majority of the hair. For any remaining hair, we use lint rollers, rubber gloves, or specialized brushes designed to pick up pet hair. If necessary, we also treat the fabric with anti-static sprays to make the removal process easier. For linens, we recommend a thorough washing with a pet-safe detergent to ensure any remaining hair and allergens are removed.

We highly recommend owner consider smell removal service for fabric furniture.

  • Removing stains from a mattress involves a careful process to ensure the stain is lifted without damaging the mattress. The process typically includes spot-treating the stain with appropriate cleaning solutions, gently blotting the area to lift the stain, and then allowing the mattress to dry thoroughly.

Urine stains are particularly challenging to remove because they penetrate deep into the mattress fibers and often come with an odor that requires extra treatment. Additionally, urine contains bacteria, so we use specialized disinfectants and cleaning agents to ensure the area is thoroughly sanitized. This process can take longer and may involve multiple applications to completely remove the stain and odor, contributing to a more extensive and costlier treatment.

  • To remove allergens from furniture and linens, we use a combination of deep cleaning methods and allergen-reducing products. For furniture, we thoroughly vacuum the surfaces and apply allergen-reducing sprays that neutralize dust mites and other common allergens. For linens, we recommend washing them at high temperatures with hypoallergenic detergents to remove allergens effectively. Additionally, we suggest using air purifiers during the cleaning process to help filter out airborne allergens.

  • When choosing linens for homes with pets, we recommend using tightly woven fabrics like microfiber or cotton blends, which are more resistant to pet hair and less prone to trapping allergens. These materials are durable, easy to clean, and less likely to get damaged by claws. Additionally, they help reduce the accumulation of pet dander and are easier to wash, making them ideal for households with pets.
